After winning the 2023 Swedish Grammy Best R&B/Soul for his sophomore EP “All Stars Aligned”, Bavé embarked on an immersive journey through the underground music scenes of New York, London, and Stockholm. While he sought new influences around the world, Bavé ultimately found himself drawn back to the very roots that shaped him - the dub sound systems of Gottsunda, Sweden, where he grew up in the shadow of towering housing blocks.

This two-year odyssey, marked by encounters with musicians and producers tied to the likes of Lana Del Ray, Prince, and Porches, further crystallized the genre he had always envisioned. What emerged was a raw, fever-dream of Hood Psychedelic - a harsh, yet hypnotic fusion that captures the intensity of his childhood dreams.
